30 Day camping trip in 4×4 camper vans
A brief overview of the trip. Our trip to Lake Malawi starts off in the Kruger National Park where we meet at Punda Maria and fuel up and do last minute checks. From here we go into Mozambique and drive through the Limpopo river to get up to the border to get into Zimbabwe and Gonarezhou where we spend a couple of days exploring. We then leave the park and drive to the Great Zimbabwe Ruins. The ruins are a must when visiting Zimbabwe and date back hundreds of years. After this it is off to trout fish at Nyanga National Park in the Eastern Highlands. Next stop across the border in Mozambique at Cahora Bassa dam to try our luck at Tiger fishing. Restock at Tete and up to Lake Malawi where we snorkel, fish, do boat trips and explore. After this it is down again into Mozambique stopping at Gorongosa National Park then Vilanculos and Inhambane and other places along the coast where we eat sea food, snorkel, dive and take boat trips. Our tour ends at the Komatipoort border post back in South Africa.
